It’s been a while since I’ve written so I’m just adding some spice to the weekend
Take me back to a place where I once was,
Where fairytales and dreams were more than just;
And love and happiness spoke sweetly, I trust!
When separation and distance never bothered us.
Take me back to a time when innocence saved,
She was naive but happily enslaved-
In all the riddles of time and happiness to come,
-Back then it was great she was having fun.
But what have I now but emptiness to show?
With time, feelings fade and emptiness grow,
Where have my heart gone? I cannot know.
On the wings of time it flows, it flows.
Remember when!
Remember when we both had wings?
Young, carefree not having to worry about a thing.
When the sky was the limit and we’d touch it with the of our hands we’d graze the sun.
Remember when it was Christmas all year round,
When Santa was real and the Easter bunny would always come.
When mom and dad weren’t always fighting-Remember when-
Life used to be fun.
Now look at us grown from the battles of time,
Dusk mark our existence, painting our faces with lines.
And like leaves of skin withers beaten by seasons terrain,
And we anticipate our ends to the beginning of that pearly gate.
But the end never came just constant promises,
Today it’s an accident, tomorrow it’s diseased and even with the most threats
Promises is all we get.
Remember when
When life wasn’t so full of regrets!
Heart of Stone
As if beaten by time my heart continues beating,
But cold oh so cold, winter is always its favorite season.
The harshness of time had turn it cold,
Pitch black, withering, hard as stone!
Why do you take on so much when you’re so little a person?
Heart replies ‘if not I who else would share this burden?’
Tomorrow is a Forgotten Yesterday.
The sun kisses the earth each morning while the moon embraces the night,
And we smile bright like fools captured by a magnetic sight.
Funny it’s our own impending doom unknown,
Life’s the keeper of our destinies, Ah you think you’re grown.
You think you know today because it’s here,
Shaking your hands, offering a breath of fresh air.
But today was never promised,it never came,
Just the truth of a passing season another untold game.
Why do we anticipate life when it’s living we must,
Make memories, make time why bother hiding your lust?
High five the air as it kisses your cheek,
Catch each shard of raindrop before it touches your feet,
Hurt is a must, it’s the gym equipment of life,
A heavy burden and too big a price.
So leave the troubles, let it follow!
Fuck it, I’m here today I know not tomorrow,
But right now in this moment I’ll dine with time
Making awesome memories; even alone and that’s fine.
Prose
How now am I the victim of thine own insecurities,
Of baffling dreams and made up realities,
On paths that bend for the rich to oppress,
And the poor less suffering; what a total mess.
How now do I walk in this brightly lit night,
What a scorching beauty, showeth thus thy might.
And as we crawl while running from the destination we create,
Life will punish, oh what a daunting faith.
How now here I am in this temporary splendor,
My heart on my sleeve, brains ultimate contender.
And though your eyes roam through my soul and win,
I am the giver of thine own punishable sin.
Words
It’s just a hollow sense of contemplation, of strings attached to my feeble skin they play on.
Of dreams that manifest their realities even when we are wide awake,
Why do we try so hard to stay strong.
These roses their scents are dark clouds,
They hover though planted on top soil lets root them out,
What sense is there in its beauty,
When hate and fear is all it lets out?
Play on sweet melodies of disaster,
It’s your life, after all I’m borrowed shrubs.
Don’t caress me with calloused lies and expect a tender path of unrequited love
I’ve had enough of this distant journey,
My heels now battered with stains of love.
This rope that hugs my throat looks dainty,
Watch it pull and plops and lull
And whispers of distant laughter I hear now,
My sweet home rest well dearest above.
Is it okay
Is it okay for me to miss you a little more each day?
If I called and ask please tell me yes you would say!
I’m truly nervous when it comes to you,
As days whisk by just as your words have become few.
I’m already hooked and you never bother releasing the bait,
It’s like a push and pull just for names sake.
But then we both want this I know it for sure!
Is it okay if I start saying am yours?
What is a Hand?
It was blind faith that lead you to me
The imperfection of sweet serenity
It was hope that tended our grasp
Kissing the tips of our tender hearts
And though we fall short on the path to hold
Together in time like flower we unfold
A soft brush, a firm grip, a stroke that exploded like a huntsman’s whip.
The sweetest connection yet to grow;
Newly found in the seed we sow.
In time you become my most trusted friend,
Mastering words without saying them.
Giving love by just being there,
Carrying the weight of time, mastering our fears.
What is a hand I ask? I must!
It is the strength of love and trust!
Give Me Love
I needed you but,
It was you who had needed me most.
Each kiss a sweet caress of your hearts desire, the unspoken truth of lust, or was it love!
Each tender touch, so soft like feathers dancing across my skin,
I become alive, you become alive, we become one!
I felf your breath upon me, teasing, willing my heart to leap and skip yet another beat, to surrender!
Life dusk you surround me, and presses on for the very reaction you crave.
For the lushness of my skin.
Skin upon skin, feeling! Wanting what neither of us should but had.
We rip apart like paper and glued back together, through wind and rain we always find our way back to each other’s arms, back to love!
I needed you, so I keep telling myself until our very existence was no more and yet I lived!
I lived through dreams of a forbidden reality, for a man or a wife I craved what must have been, or was it you who had craved I?
I lied to my soul when it questioned for answers, I denied the sweet perfume of your caresses but allowed them once or twice in dreams that scattered on like dusk.
Fearing you’d be lost forever I held on to what never was,
giving life to death, you lived on...
