If we cannot explore the multifariousness of our society, we will soon forget the magic that lies beneath it. And thus, I write. Go read.

innocent beauty

a young girl,

waking up at

the barest hint

of her mother’s

yellow gaze,

stretching into

her warm light

with moonlight kisses

dancing on her

soft crimson skin

A Rose by another name

a garden flower- the color of fire

caught at the break of day- supports

a thousand beads of fiery light

The Morning Rose

I tried to reach for it's beauty.

Yet, I stain it's white perfection,

With the crimson of my blood.

Of course I could never tangle with it's thorns.

It is freshly caressed with the kisses of a new dawn.

It sways gently,

Letting only the rain cling to it's fragile form,

Like tears, glittering in the skies warmth.

It tickles with the promise that it will someday reach the stars.

I will leave it be, till the moon devours the day.

Though I will always ponder if,

By any other name would it smell as sweet?

Camouflaged Bud!!

Eldritch night looming over

I await a morning star

Camouflaged as a bud

I keep my bleeding lips shut

Only to be lost in melancholy

And then am touched with dampness of love

To perceive back my impetus to flourish

And make the world smile at dawn...

Magdalene’s Bouquet

Fire erupts!

Slowly ...

With wet persuasion

She is vulnerable

In velvet casing and

Turning toward the light

She watches heaven

Parting with forgiveness

She is reborn --

Spreading her

Aromatic sensuality

Across the valley and

Before God --

And in an Angel's tear

Her hope glistens

Married in the Garden

All curled up,

Like two young lovers

On fire

One flame

Beads of sweat

Cover them at dawn

As they unravel

Magnificently grown,

Apart, but still One.

Earth’s Gift

Earth asks for Heaven's hand

Presenting gifts handmade

A ruby concealed inside itself

Kissed by the nature's pearls

Awaiting release upon acceptance

To explode into harsh and gentle hues

In favor of Heaven's precious gaze

Blossoms Pierced with Pain

Velvet lips

A ruby hue

Panting for

The mist

Of dawn

The scent

Of life wafts

On her breath

Thorns of passion

In her grasp

Painted with

The brush

Of beauty

Mingled with

Shadows blue

Of suffering

Dawn Beauty

It was the striking beauty

Of dawn

Which caught my eye

The glint of early light

Reflecting off the liquid droplets

Accumulated on both leaf

And thorn

This precious flower's ruby lips

Had begun opening as if it

Were yawning

One could just imagine

Each of the layers opening

One by one

Drinking in the day

Growing more beautiful

With time

Regrets

Those nasty little musings

I should have

I shouldn’t have

If I hadn’t

If I had

Always there needling

Sometimes light as

A feather

Other times a burden

Fit for Atlas

What if they never

Existed

I’d be far more

Ignorant
