When Stars Fall
The moon
Is the mother of all stars
The stars are there
To hold up the moon
To keep it stable
So it does not fall
But some of the stars
Cannot fly, as they are taught to
So they fall
And are never seen again
Unless
You make a wish
The wish teaches the star how to fly
If it finds your wish before it hits the ground
It floats back up to the sky
And then gives you your wish back
That is why
You wish on stars
And that is why
You never find the crater
Of fallen stars
That found their wishes
The Man Who Threw The Stars
There was a man who ruled the night sky. People called him terrible, because he threw away the stars. But still he saved up star by star; shaped them and made them shine; and then he would throw them across the sky. He loved how they glistened as they fell, with their fiery trail, even though he knew everyone thought it was crazy, and rude to the stars. He knew that one day they would appreciate what he did. So when you see a shooting star, think of how beautiful it is. Because a man once defied everyone and everything he knew to show you that beauty, to show us all the beauty. Life's too short to ignore anything beautiful.
Wish Foundation
There's a foundation out there, the WISH foundation. You won't ever discover it or its employees-- they don't even know they're employed. You might be one of them. Who knows.
When you wish on a star, that star remembers it. When it lands or disintegrates, the wish is transferred to the nearest person, and their goal-- whether they know it or not-- is suddenly to make that wish come true for someone.
Sometimes your wish isn't granted because the star can't get close enough to you. That just means someone got that wish granted for them whether they needed it or not. We call that 'wish donation'. You made someone happier. Thanks for your contribution.
The WISH foundation welcomes your patronage and looks forward to doing business with you again.
Her wishes
He loved her from a distance
He wanted her close
But with every step forward, he took another two back
She was all he could see
Even from miles away
He hoped she felt the same
So every night he'd send a star flying across the sky
Curiously wondering what her deepest desires and wishes were
And every night he'd be disappointed watching the girl he wanted so badly
As those precious lips mouthed the name of another boy
The Legend Of Folog The Terrible Bog Monster
Deep inside your toilet lives a monster to be feared, ignore it at your peril as your ignorance it hears,
Treat it with respect and you'll be treated so in turn, diss the little fucker and your arse is gonna burn,
Spoken of in legend from the CurrySlurry tribe, you will know he's present as The Stars shoot 'cross the skies, heralding his presence as he hides himself away, waiting just to rip your precious private parts today,
Lurking round the u-bend it awaits your dangly bits, as you sit unaware that's when it readies for the hit,
And you'll be oh so sorry when it clamps around your groin, so just before you plant your arse toss in a silver coin.
Folog is his name and silver coins do distract, as long as he is pleased he is not tempted to attack,
So if you're feeling bold and think that you will be okay, Folog Of The Bog will wait and rip your bits away!
Couldn’t Help Himself
Look! Falling stars, grandpa.
No, child, we used to call them falling stars
until we read that story about that chicken
running around scaring everybody
that the sky is falling,
and we gasped, "Skies can fall?"
They said, no, skies don't fall. Stars don't fall.
There's no gravity in space, remember?
It's just a story.
OK, if those stars aren't falling,
what do you call that they are doing?
Umm...
(shut up, kid)
...they're just shooting around.
They're shooting stars.
Whew...that's good to know that
the sky isn't falling and
the world will never end.
Hey, I didn't anything about that!
All those stars shooting around up there,
one's bound to hit us eventually.
Thanks, grandpa.
Genevieve stared off at the Eiffel Tower, it's lights the brightest thing in the night sky, as she was accustomed to doing from the biggest window in the palace so many nights before. She twirled a finger around one of her sandy blonde ringlets and let it lose, picking up another strand as she did so and sighing faintly before looking up at the moon with sad green eyes.
"I wish... I wish there were some way I could send him my affection. My love has been gone so long now I fear I'll never see him again." she spoke lightly but as she did a sudden movement in her peripheral vision caught her attention and she turned to see what it was. She gasped at what was none other than a being, radiating some sort of energy and light.
It spoke. "Sweet darling why do you fret? I have heard your cries every night for your love to return, I am here to offer relief."
Genevieve had heard of beings like this before and their tie to the moon but she had never given credibility to the idea herself until now.
"Perhaps you can bring my Nicolai home to me?"
The blonde girl sang out in her melodious youthful tone to this luminous being in hopes that she would be granted her wish.
"I am sorry dearest but he has a destiny to achieve far from this place and so I cannot grant this early return to you."
The lunar genie frowned a bit with it's bright features as it seen the girls pitiful disappointment and in turn offered another plan.
"If you like I could give you the power to pluck stars from the vast stellar ocean of the night, fill them with your love and shoot them across the sky to your beloved with this divine bow instead?"
The girl, knowing it better to compromise than get nothing, agreed to the moon servants terms and was granted this wish.
To this day, Genevieve shoots her stars to Nicolai to remind him how much she loves him and wishes for his safe return.
The little star
Once there was a star thats light shine brighter any anything in the universe. Her and her friends danced and played all day. She was a happy little star that wanted nothing more until one day when one of her friends was trapped by the sun. The sun wanted her friend to give him energy to keep him alive longer; but she wouldn't stand to see her friend be enslaved. With the bravery of a thousand hearts she confronted the sun and said that she shined much brighter than her friend and that she should be the one to give him energy. Finally after much thought the sun agreed and sent her friend on his way. The little star dreaded the thought of not being happy with her friends anymore so she made a deal with the sun. She would give him all of her energy right now in exchange to be free. The sun felt out raged! To think a star so small as she to make such a preposterous arrangement! But he could not refuse her tears. She would weep al day and night before him. Showing that she would soon become frail and he would have no other. One day he finally agreed upon her offer. With generosity from both side she gave him all that she could and, with a sudden jerk backwards, rushed towards a planet. The sensation of weightlessness filled her o the brim as the warm flames surrounded her. Slowly she closed her eyes and fell fast asleep. Never to cry again.
