Sun Soliloquy (alliteration poem)
Sun soliloquy slinks silently into silvery sea
stars twinkle toast to molten moon
meandering moodily across soundless sky.
Night knots wild waves into silky submission
lingering light laughs as it plays pranks on sea sprites
seeking deep soul submersion in voiceless vacuum
peace pipes prayers of tranquil tomorrow tunes.
Clown College
Crazy clowns
Crashing down crowded streets
In one cramped car
Calling out to the people
Crowing, and clapping at the antics
Carried out by characters
Clothed in bright, primary colors
Their faces caked with copious
Amounts of makeup
Cheers and cacophony abound
Children smile, babies cry
Eventually the caravan
Of clowns curtails
The parade concluded
Quiet again in the courtyard.
Judge her jewelry with prejudice, Jim-Just-Jilted,
You're jealous.
You may be Jesus, you may be Judas,
Joyful yet single, jeering jube jovial.
Fix fox eyes on Jennifer, Jim,
Her justice jinxes Jupiter,
Her breath jonzing mint julep,
Her fingers free to frolic,
Her posture prim and prurient,
She savours prospective suitors
With wiles wanton and willful.
Judge her with prejudice, Jim-Just-Jilted,
You're jealous.
Rouge
The red rose withers wildly under unkept heavy hands
Petals pirouette to the flat floor, losing life
A wolf whimpers quite quietly at the mindful moon and he howls hauntingly hollow
The thunder cracks constantly after lightning lights the never-ending night
Fire flickers steadily, slowly in a humble home
Gentle, giving hands prettily pick the next new red rose
