My delicately woven glassware orb

fragmented into shards that

pierce hope, stab dreams

blood dripping from fingertips

breaks the silence-

it is all the more painful knowing

it could never be what it was

again

You promised to get better

You said that you would stop

But you didn't

I saw you yesterday

I saw the powder

I saw the straw

So why did you lie

Thank God I have no expectations

of anybody keeping their word.

very disappointed.
