All in plane sight.
Let me be more eloquent.
I'm not just saying it for the hell of it.
What's that in the corner?!
An elephant?
One day these words might be relevant.
But for now I'll keep playing the Revenant.
True knowledge is heaven sent.
Yet the folly of college would have you thinking,
Its in the text.
But I digress.
It's cryptically hidden on television,
Intertwined with the shadowed decision,
To program a race of obedient citizens.
A global vision.
We're too stubborn to see what's been hidden,
And who am I kidding?
I'd rather not know I've been fooled,
Than look at the blood on the wall of the school.
So I've painted my prison.
With neon dreams of nebulas,
Joined a festival of the incredulous.
Now I'm looking back
And asking why,
We covered the skies with lies so big
They'd might never be denied,
By the brave who decided to question.
Whats hiding in plane sight
So I'll be crucified while I'm laughing.
As I'm deemed insane by those
Who scored front row seats
in Plato's cave.
Slavery was never abolished.
We're chained to a ball that we've polished.
With the spit of our disgust at trusting
Ourselves to know the difference
Between up and down.
So sometimes it might take a clown,
To put that shiny old crown
right back on your head.
