The Eyes That Won’t See

An eye for an eye,

And we destroy our kind.

In a place like this,

Envied are the blind.

Hate breeds hate 

Like love breeds love,

And the two make a monster:

A one-eyed dove.

If this is our best,

Then it's much too late,

But, for now,

My future is left up to Fate.
