WHAT A SAD LITTLE DISEASE: thought Emily looking directly at Sarah.
"Are you sure you're okay to go to work today?" Sarah said for the sixth time
"No I'm alright, just need a few pain killers, that's all."
"You were acting so strangely last night, callin' me all sorts of names" Emily froze at this.
"What?" she said not knowing what Sarah was talking about.
"You don't remember? Well, you went all goofy after and fainted" Emily could feel her heart trying to rip out from her chest. Not a single memory from that night had hit her, it was like her brain had completely shut down. Sarah asked her something when Emily was making her way to the door, slamming it without caring at all what Sarah had to say. But something struck her mind and quickly went back to Sarah,
"Don't tell anyone what happened last night" Sarah rolled her eyes when she said this shocked by her obnoxious behaviour. The office felt like it changed to her, but she could still remember the rich smell of it and the people she felt hate for at that moment. She on her chair in front of her typewriter smiling happily with Sarah next to her who had driven. In a strange way she was happy, smiling with sunshine shining through the window, but everything felt odd, like it were an illusion. She looked at the paper examining her work when a flash of light struck through her mind, she held the paper closely to her eyes, there was nothing that she remembered writing it was all: "She will pay she will pay she will pay, nails cut". Emily had no clue what it could mean, suddenly she screamed like a banshee. She could feel so much pain, the most painful memoirs of her existence came back to her, including Alexander. It felt like someone was burning her, branding all the horrid memories onto her soul. She half crawled to the bathroom in agony anger with everyone staring at the woman with their chins dropped to their chests in bewilderment. All her anger and depression shot right to her head and out of her mouth as blood. This had never happened before, she had never spat out blood before. She was now getting
the impression that she was extremely sick, deep down she had known that for a while, ever since it happened. The pain was greater than any she had ever experienced but when it finally ended she left the building in a hurry trying to hide her face from humanity. When she arrived at her apartment she covered her face with her hands crying alone, but she felt she was not. A voice came from somewhere, Emily looked around not knowing, it was like it came from everywhere. The voice was familiar, a voice she could never forget, it was the sweet and glorious sound of Alex. She could hear him talking to her, telling her something. Her ears opened wide and she smiled, "Emily" It said in her head "help me." the voice paused "you need to kill her, she is an enemy. She stole me from me and your just going to sit there and do nothing about it!" The voice yelled. Emily grabbed her head crying and screaming and took a stroll. She left the apartment before Sarah came back. Sarah had thought Emily was acting strange, it was like her personality was completely different. Right there in front of her was the grand living of Alexander Dickens, Emily waited by the door until someone else came and opened it, Emily had entered taking the stairs. She put her ear in front of the door of Alex, he was talking to the woman, she was most certain they were making love. Rage had filled her body as she tightly squeezed the knife in her hand, listening to the voice of joy, but not love, Emily thought that it was not love, she thought an absolute lack of love, it was like the relationship with Emily and Gabriel. Alex had said The woman's name, Eve, he had said that he loved Eve, Emily felt sick at this. As she lifted her hand to knock on the door to terminate Eve Davis it quickly went down. She couldn't do it, not now.
