At the very minute when Emily had finished reading the letter that she had received from Mr. Davis she tossed it in the trash. For it meant nothing to her, she did not care if he needed to know the truth, she just needed to know that Eve was suffering in hell. But that detail turned into a reflection of Emily herself. Sarah came home from a job that was loved by Emily,
"Emily, we need to talk, could you sit?" Sarah said,
"I don't want to sit" Emily sassed. The face on Sarah was worried,
"Fine, stand. When Mr. Dilens fired you, you stopped paying rent" Sarah felt sorely vexed saying this. "Is what I'm saying is that I can't pay rent on my own" she paused looking at Emily in a sorry way, "and I need a new room mate." Emily burned with rage when these words sailed out of her mouth.
"Are you saying you're kicking me out?" Emily said in anger trying to hide her sadness. Without saying a whisper she left to pack her belongings. Things had changed ever since the cruel and agonising second when she had witnessed Alexander and Eve together. Every person that she had ever met believed that she had changed as well, she was falling into pieces, she was being devoured from the inside out, dissolving like water on a steaming hot rock. Sarah did not know anything about Alex and Emily, but she knew she changed, most of all her behaviour, it was like her heart froze completely. There was no place to stay, except at her mother's house, but she had not seen her ever since she turned eighteen. The only choice she had was stay in a cheap motel. Before she left she did not take a single glimpse at Sarah, the last thought she had in that apartment building was a motel she had in mind. Her arms stretched and her legs shook as she walked through the cold night to the cheapest motel in town.
A day past of success. Emily had found a job at a cafe as a waitress, it was successful, but she hated waiting tables. Going from one side of the cafe to the other serving coffee and pancakes was really tiring. The hot pot of coffee that she carried from every side of the room tempted her to smoulder herself to death, but that tempting situation tempted her more when she turned to the other side. The man that broke her heart but still fantasized about sat between her eyes enjoying a cappuccino. She went numb all over feeling adrenaline rush through her veins, when Alexander’s eyes met with Emily's the jug fell from her hands and shattered into nearly more pieces than her her heart. Her feet leaped through the door until she reached her motel feeling the horrid liquid that came through her throat exiting her mouth. The tears that dripped from her eyes soon turned into fire when she gaped Eve entering the motel.
