A Call for Arms
This is a call,
a call for arms.
Bear your arms vertically extended
with your middle finger standing alone
to show you are offended.
Bear your arms to the cemetery
where Lady Liberty lies.
Reanimate her with love and anger-
love for her,
anger for those who buried her.
Bear them to the statehouses
to show your displeasure.
Keep them in the air
So they know you question their authority.
Demand answers.
Demand action.
This is a call,
a call for arms.
Those arms- we need them.
We need the bodies
to which they are attached:
your eyes and ears to witness,
your brains to plan,
mouths to speak,
and your hearts for love and courage.
Bear those arms to Washington, DC
to tell them you no longer believe their lies,
that Mother Earth has feelings
and there are tears in her eyes
for the raping and pillaging killing her
in the name of the almighty dollar!
This is a call,
a call to arms.
Watch your arms multiply.
Be a part of a mighty army,
an army of peaceful arms reaching for the sky!
If you care for your liberty,
if you want a fair shot at life,
if you care for Mother Earth-
Lift those arms
with the middle finger extended.
Hold those arms high!
