LETTER TO MY NEPHEW

You donʼt know now, but soon enough youʼd know I wonʼt tell you “I love you” but show you that I genuinely do in ways that might beat your expectations.

You're probably too young for this but I want you to know even from a tender age, the value of things and not just their prices.

Darling, your sojourn here might not be as smooth and cozy as youʼd have expected it, but itʼs the tough times that teach you whatʼs most important in life.

A few words of correction might hurt you a whole lot nonetheless itʼs better than kisses on the forehead which will lead you to ruin

Your patience, strength, will and abilities will be tested by those who donʼt even know half your story, donʼt give in. Remember the nights I told you resilience is indispensable.

People will come and go, Family stays till the end of eternity and good friends, for a really long time.

Thereʼs a greater power, I donʼt care what they teach you in philosophy, God is sovereign and He created the universe.

You're too damn handsome, too much passion and energy is being invested into raising you for you to be a ‘fuck boy’. Respect the women and men in your life.

Trust your journey and pursue your dreams. Donʼt let anyone tell you ’you canʼt do it' , not even me.

When it seems like others are going way faster than you, believe things will happen for you at the right time and increase your faith and patience.

Lastly, after Iʼm gone, I want you to also leave a legacy that would not be forgotten in 100 years
