Sick

Ugh

My throat itches

My voice a scratch

Coughs surface as I attempt breath

Is it hot

Or cold

It's both

World spins

Is my head warm

Or is this illness just in my head

Am I a hypochondriac

Or am I really sick

I don't know

More coughs

Must breathe through my mouth

Nose is stopped to the point of no return

Shallow breaths

My throat is sore

Yet

I still come to school

Because I'd rather be sick at school than take an end-of-semester exam
