A Whisper
For him his existence was itself the grimmest part of his life...
Experiences with humans taught him to never trust anyone...
Empty was his glass, plenty was his shot of whiskey...
Numerous separations turned his heart of stone into cold metal...
He anxiously prayed for an early expiry...
Dogmatically accepted Death to be the cheerful part of life.
Saw her in the park for the first time... feelings for her invaded his heart... felt a warmness his existence was alien to
Before long his whisky was replaced by sweet tea...colourful was the air he inhaled... his faith in life was born and at last the wishes for death were unknown to him... Peace had finally found his home
A mere fallacy ran in the words "TILL DEATH DO US APART"
ALAS !
Death must've been challenged like never before.
For its own dalliance, Life betrayed their Love.
Death seemed to have found a heart worth breaking.
As Life romanced with Death, Death gambled with their lives,
And planted the seed of death in their love
He believed nothing in the world could take her away
Come what may, his glass was finally half full
In the shadows of the night,
Death came to do what it did best
He didn't even here her leave
All she left him, was a whisper *i love you*
