The Secret Killer
"I know your secret."
That is the note left on the victims of a serial killer running rampant in the city of Raleigh. So far, it is the only thing the four victims -- a lawyer, a janitor, a teacher, and a librarian -- have had in common. Now Dr. Rachel White, a biologist, has received an identical note on her desk. She is reluctant to call the police, though, because the envelope also contains proof that she falsified federally funded research findings. As police hunt for the killer, Dr. White receives increasingly unnerving notes -- pictures of her at work, shopping receipts, and items from her house. The increasingly personal nature of the messages causes Dr. White to suspect everyone close to her. Then, she receives one final message:
"Meet me."
