Challenge
Remove your shoes. Write a poem that celebrates your feet. Don't forget to tag me!
Carried
Bare and cold,
They carry me to the beds
Where innocence breathes
Baby's breath
Onto my eyelashes.
Hot and tired,
They carry me through the crowds
Where excitement overflows
Tiny hearts
And love fills my own.
Swollen and sore,
They carry me on a journey
Where another life begins;
Ten fingers
And ten tiny toes.
Bruised and battered,
They refuse to carry me down the path
Where my fears lie.
True love
Carries me then;
True love made of four pairs of feet.
