You know the one. The kid you felt sorry for at school. Or on the bus. Maybe you are the kid you felt sorry for. Maybe your sibling. Maybe, looking back, its a different kid entirely. Give that kid 100 words. In that 100 words, try to make it right.
School Daze
I was wrong. There, I said it. I was wrong, okay? Who knew third graders got insecure, right? Who knew that third graders could nitpick every little thing that was different until someone literally changed schools to get away from them? Who knew third graders grew up to be in the same position as that kid they teased? Listen, I could apologize until I'm blue and my lips are numb (and believe me, I intend to), but I know that apologizing is a million times easier than admitting I was wrong. So here it is: I was wrong. I'm sorry.
