Cold Hands but a Warm Heart.

A few yeas ago, 5 to be exact, a blizzard tore through where I lived, and me being 9 years old I wasn't thinking about helping. I was thinking of how big of a snowman I could build, but thankfully there was a man who didn't think like me. It was at night where this man popped up. The temperature was freezing and our car wouldn't start. So we got out of the car and had to wipe the snow and ice off the engine and car, but the thing was that we were on our way to a party so our nice clothes were becoming drenched and dirty. And then a buff angel came and offered his help. We spent the next few minutes trying to warm up the car and my hands were becoming blue, a bad sign. But I didn't want to seem weak in front of a man with no gloves and was still going at it. He noticed.

"Go Inside, I got this", he said. I shook my head, and my fingers shook along with them.

And as corny as these words sound, they stayed with me to today,"There's a difference between strength and stupidity. Don't be dumb". I then nodded and went inside to hot chocolate. As I sat there I couldn't stop but thinking of the man, was he being strong because he was helping us or dumb for that exact reason. EH.
