She wore red.

A strapless dress and

Heels to the ballroom ceiling

And a red feathered masquerade mask

Held by red painted nails

And for all I knew, her eyes were

The reddest.

A red hoodie and

Red stained, tough combat boots

And that damn feathered masquerade mask

And the red on her hands wasn't just for her nails
