Before, Now, and After.

Before I was a simple man, living the common life. I worked my tail off at the farms and in return all i got were beatings. But one day the king took my brother for he acted in treason. My bro only simply asked for bread in presence of a few Nobles. Now, I have killed before but when I did i swore to never kill again. But for family one has to sacrifice.

     After the battle I held the tyrannical kings head by the hair and had my knife to his throat. His last words were, 'You will become me'. I then took out the competition.

     I became king and my bro my next in line. I started by restoring the lands that the tyrannical king destroyed. After that, I wanted to test how much power does a king have. So for fun I told the jester to do 3 tasks. Rob his bro of his food, graffiti the walls of a neighboring kingdom, and then for the jester to get rid of himself. He did all 3.

     Now, everythings changing. I see it in the eyes of my people, they look at me differently. What have I done? What have I become?

     I have become what I took all my willpower to destroy, a tyrannical king.
