Sweet Reminisce

I knew you like a lifetime ago

Yet when I look in your eyes it feels like just yesterday we were holding hands, strolling in the park, getting caught in the rain and gloriously laughing all the way home.

It was a lifetime ago since I held you in my arms, but my arms still feel the weight of your body in them.

The way it seemed we fit so well together that it must be right, because nothing wrong could ever feel that good.

Well time has moved us on, and I've cherished our time, our memorable season together. It was a treasure and a delight to reminisce if only for a moment, but we both know our time is up. 

As we part from our sweet encounter, it's a reminder of the beauty this world still holds.
