I ate vegan today,

A bright white plate

Full of berries

And seeds.

But I am still

Too full.

My emotions

Crawling up my throat.

My vulnerability

Crowding towards

My fingertips

Until it all spills

Out, bursts of

Words on a keyboard,

Praises on my lips.
