The night I walked into the ocean.
Twilight, and the ocean breaks.
The sun and moon
kiss one another "hello",
before letting go~
delaying no goodbyes.
Soft glowing light fades in half,
giving into the wane;
while my tongue turns red,
touching my lips through translucent greens.
Bottled for one, it goes down
creating my own painted canvas;
I find myself drenched like Drenthe-
out, on the three lands;
where a "little painter fellow"
bid his troubled lover, farewell.
The oceans legend sage, beckons me;
salt burns and peels me down-
undressed, and stripped
of my regretful goodbyes.
I turn to drop;
to walk out;
to plunge~
and I do ....
and it's breathtaking.
Unprotected in the night;
all alone, I tumble.
The ominous cold shadows, biting into me; aware of the suffocating waves,
and my failures- they seem so limitless;
so deep, that they
seem to take root of my feet.
Coarse debris delivers pieces of
valediction that forms a bladed line;
flowing through me,
in a crystal awakening.
A crushing blue force~
scraping it all away; and
lastly, relinquishing me.
While twilight turns out the night,
everything becomes dark~
and clear;
and quiet ....
I stand up.
I walk out of the ocean ....
It was exhausting to love you.
And now,
I have exhausted all goodbyes.
