Kicked Off the Team

I was told I had been ejected from the team. I couldn't believe it. Basketball was everything to me. And here it was, being taken away!

     "You're just not good enough. You showed a lot of potential but you refused to work hard," the coach told me,

      I had no clue what he was talking about. I tried so hard!!!! Obviously, I wasn't a star played, but I was one of the better players. That's why this was such a surprise.

     Already, my stuff was sitting on the bench, and Julia had taken my locker.

     "April Fools," she laughs.
