I am a speck

in the expanse of eternity

living in blinks and breaths

making waves in forever.

I am a tiny dot

placed on the page of infinity

just me,

waiting for the touch of a pen.

I am insignificant

without power to change on my own

without the will to fight

lost in a touch.

But

I am strong

I have the hope

of a thousand stars

to guide me home.

I am great

with the power to change eternity

simply by believing,

sending my pebble into the water.

I am a wave

shaking the foundation of the future

breaking the barriers of spirit

bringing mountains to their knees.

I am a lion

joining in the chorus

raising the ashes of time

triumphant and joyous in the flames.

I am waiting

never in silence

never stationary
