Portrait of Self Pity
Tears turn to diamonds as they fall,
Fake,
As life truly is,
Tortured by reality.
Dreams are my only visions of
Happiness.
Forgotten how sweet childhood was.
Now love burdens my lonely soul.
Defeat to lust,
As I try to defend and lose.
Weak,
Paralyzed by emotion.
Touched by fear.
I surrender myself to you.
Fearing life won't take me.
I smother myself in thy only tears,
In debt with compassion.
I feel the darkness,
That invades this fate less mind,
Pity,
I feel my soul leak.
Draining the happiness.
Sadness penetrates my veins,
Filled with melancholy.
Magic,
Died.
Blood made darkened.
Showering the truth.
Heartless to say.
Suffering the lost.
Blinded by reality.
Please, help!
I need the satisfaction.
Hope,
Destroyed.
Life has dilapidated,
Like a dead rotting flower.
Petals of evil.
A mural of luau.
Believe in me.
Touch all that you see.
Burn in this darkened flame.
Heal my wounds of displeasure.
Forgive all that you see.
Portray me in your life.
Confuse me.
Pretend with me.
Then in the end,
Feel me in you.
