I act like I don't notice you,

While watching you out of the corner of my eyes.

I know you're doing the same,

And I really want to talk to you,

But I don't have the guts.

So I make up excuses to be where you are,

Right inside of earshot, close enough to speak,

But I just wait for you

To talk to me first.
