The destruction known as doubt

The beast wants inside,

Scratching at the walls,

Biting the peelings away.

It's trying to break everything,

It's goal is to cause chaos,

to twist you inside out.

Oh god it's broken through,

I can feel it digging inside,

Creating darkness throughout.

I've got to fight it,

It can't get control over me,

I need to throw it out.

Tearing at my walls,

Ripping wholes in my very soul,

Infecting me with its tar.

I'm reaching out for help,

Please will you stop this,

Only you can save me.

You don't seem to understand,

how much I wish to stay yours,

I need you to be my pillar.

Help me know you're here,

Keep me close,

Don't let them take you from me.
