A Lyrical Poem

Just wanna dance with you all night,

We’d never let our hearts turn gray.

This moment shaking in my hands,

It’ll be over and I’ll still be asking when.

But we’re both in silence,

Stone cold,

Wide eyed,

Like we’re in a crime scene.

I’m searching for something,

That I can’t reach.

Still waiting to live,

Still waiting to love.

I don’t know how,

To get it right.
