Pining away

all night and day

for something I can't have.

Winding through my dreams,

heart bursting at the seams -

it's not possible.

My heart - it wants you;

if only you knew,

but I can't say the words.

Emotionally lost,

heart broken is the cost

and still I can't change.

I wish I could share

just how much I care,

but for now I'll keep it to myself.
