Wendigo
Beware the forest protector,
Though majestic he may seem,
With his beautiful coat, sparkling antlers and proud stance,
All things have a darkness inside.
Though he may seem gentle and kind,
All kings have another side,
The benevolent ruler who is O' so kind,
And the ruthless conqueror,
Who will show no mercy to his enemies.
So beware you destroyers,
Those who don't care for the mother will get their just reward,
You who believe in power and money,
You who disregard the earth,
And only see what it can do for you,
Those who mock and tarnish nature,
Best pray the earth will show mercy upon you soul,
For he will show none to you.
Beware for every being has a breaking point,
And the protector is both the best,
And the worst nature may offer.
O' destroyers if only you had listened,
If you had taken my warnings to heart,
Perhaps you may have lived.
But no, you ignored and destroyed,
And now the forest shall destroy you,
Can you her him,
The king is coming;
he is stalking you through the woods,
He hungers so.
O' destroyers,
Ye who had such little regard for the creatures you would hunt, And kill.
How the tables have turned,
The king will not stop, he will devour you,
You who would not listen,
We warned you; you mocked us.
And now you will serve a new purpose,
You will feed the king,
The protector of the forest,
That ancient wendigo.
