Battle with inner self

We often try to extricate ourselves from the parasite

of evilness inside us

That keeps clawing

through our flesh

Gnawing at our consciousness

Of the blunders

that we have committed

So much so that we grit

our teeth in pain and

In disgusted fury

Battling with ourselves ,

We fail to notice that

nothing lasts forever

So if you're fighting with

your inner demon

Keep calm and bear it in your mind :

It will begin to atrophy

It will deteriorate

It will eventually end
