Does the moon also fall

As fruit does

Ripening beyond

What brittle branches can hold

Ideas are universal

And this simple question

Snatched the crowns from kings

Disrobed the clergy

Lured brown skin boys from the fields

And sent steel and smoke

Up into the heavens

Does the moon also fall
