Angkor Wat
My cousins were just back from a trip to Thailand and were visiting us for the weekend. We all were gathered at the family room, everyone comforting themselves on the couch with a glass of fine wine and discussing about Thailand and its beauty. I popped up the random question that why did you not go to Cambodia? It is near by Thailand and is a must visit place housing the world's biggest and oldest temples. They regretted not going there and supporting it with the explanation that they did not have much time. I have always wanted to go there. I announced then and there that I really really want to go and see those temples.
Months passed and I was back in my home country for sometime. I got a call from my uncle that they are planning a tour to Cambodia and Thailand to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. I was excited to hear that but not much as I have always wanted to go and see that place. The next sentence my uncle spoke was that if I wanted to join them on their trip? I gasped and it took me seconds to get back my breath. My ears turned red with the excitement. So, now I have to persuade my parents to let me travel alone till Cambodia where I was to join my uncle and aunty. I asked my dad. He said that he would see if I can get the tickets matching the dates with my uncle's tour dates. I did not ask my dad again that if the dates and tickets have worked out. A month passed and I was took by the surprise when dad handed me the tickets to Cambodia and Thailand. That was the miracle trip! I wishes it and my wish got answered just within an year!! Thankful :)
