Rosebuds growing in the air
Below the rosebuds
dew drops in a steady pace
a mantis in the dark,
sing of time, and keeps counting
breaths thus far fallen
in silence, sparrows bow
deflecting the pain
painted on the face of an infant
there's war, lines of safety are narrowed
a man kills, his deeds unjustified
pines and firs stripped naked
by the rise of winter glacier
owls look on with pensive eyes
they've seen it all
every widow, every orphan of diseases
they've seen it all
the mountains heard
the echo of every falling civilization
and valleys murmur those last moments
perhaps it's a warning call to the wise
the skyline opens wide its avenues
waiting for love to awaken
on a man whose heart is part wicket and part foul
and on snow-white covered hills,
lie, far in a timeless distance,
brides and grooms, gone forever!
