SECRET TRAIN

I think my thoughts in poetry lines

In a secret train only few can catch

I speak my words in song & rhyme

In music only few can hear

Most don't even try to listen

Instead, they judge me in their ignorance

They point their finger & ask me why

But never let me speak

So I'll keep my secrets to myself

They will not see what they do not know

& what they do not know right now

They will never know

They had their chance

They gave it up

That's their loss

Can't take it back

I won't change my tune

To try & suit everyone

If you don't like it

I don't care

For there are others, those who do

& with them I'll gladly share

Maybe, one of those

Is you?

So I'll think my thoughts in poetry lines

& if you can catch this secret train

Then you'll hear my words of song & rhyme

In music you will understand
