Madness!
"Let me back in!" Rose screamed, as she pounded on the metal door. She knocked for several minutes, until her knuckles became raw, and bloody. She slumped against the wall, and sobbed.
The guard answered the door, puzzled. "You again?! Are you out of your mind?! I just released you an hour ago. You're free! Go live your life."
"I can find no peace in the outside world," she replied, "People are too selfish, and materialistic! I just saw an old lady get mugged, and no one did a thing about it! I saw a middle-aged man collapse, and watched teenagers trample over him like he was a piece of trash!"
The guard rolled his eyes. "You're preaching to the choir, honey. I'm just a pee-on here. I get paid pennies on the dollar. I get no benefits, and god forbid if I make a mistake! Are you sure this is what you want?"
"The prisoners have become my friends," Rose sighed, "The creatures that roam the halls of this dungeon, bring me comfort..."
