Reflection

As I see her face

I find someone who is lost

Whose eyes want to run

A girl who has been broken

One too many times

And is trying to mend herself

She keeps breaking, falling apart

But I see something more

Behind all the fear and stress

There is a glowing nugget of gold

That glimmers in her pupils

It is courage

Beside that parcel of courage

Blooms a single flower

A lily of hope

A nugget of courage

And those are enough to save her
