Challenge
Teenage angst. Admit it, we've all been there haha. Share your most angst filled poem from those dramatic teenage years, or, you could write a new one from a teenagers point of view.
I, God
I watch the sunlight die
on the leaves of mourning trees.
Black clouds scorch the sky,
Moon and stars can no longer see.
Light is leaving, and it's not coming back;
knowing this, watching everything fade to black.
In our skies, in our eyes, down deep inside.
who will keep it alive?
Not I.
