Tears are heavy, too

The weight of things

Becomes heavier as I do.

There was a time,

Not long ago,

That I could bare the weight no more.

When a bite passed my lips

My fingers soon followed

Down, down,

Further, further,

Up comes the weight

But somehow I feel heavier.
