Stephen King's It will be hitting theaters soon, and let's face it the guy's an amazing writer. He can tackle any genre and his works seem to get adapted into movies or shows. If your a fan of the King tell us what you think is the best/worst book or adaptation of Stephen King's works. Tag me too!
Stephen King is often regarded as one of the best writers of all time. The guy tackles many genres and writes some of the most entertaining stories. They can range from weird to emotional. His work also seems to constantly adapted into feature films or shows, and they too have a range from godawful to Oscar-worthy. For this challenge, write what you believe is the best or worst (or both) book or adaptation of one of Stephen King's works.
King’s Carrie

Hands down the best adaptation of of King's work is Brian DePalma's film of Carrie. Not only did it capture all of the images, dialogue, action, and effects, it brought those to life for those of us who read it when the book came and we all saw the same things reading and watching the film. The ONLY thing wrong with it was the miscasting of Sissy Spacek. Carrie was specifically described as overweight and oafish and Spacek was a stick figure and also had a Southern accent. I didn't even mind the film's surprise ending which was different from the book's ending. I've always said that a great writer can make almost all his/her readers see the same exact images. JMHO.
