cold pavement dying fire
distant screams tears of joy quiet talking
headlights beaming car motor oven whirrs
plates and napkins forks and knives death and life
talk of nothing repeating forever never
homework dishes soft rain crashes
blinding sunset purple clouds
deafening silence
