Do Androids Dream of Electric Sleep?
(Spring. In a few days time, a leaf bud begins to open catching sunlight beginning to grow.)
1. Create life-forms equal or greater to yourself and then enslave them.
2. Create a life-from of extreme physical capabilities (Including the possible ability of existing in the vacuum of space for an extended period of time. (Which I think would be painful reference: Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion bright as magnesium... I rode on the back decks of a blinker and watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser Gate ***)
(Attack ships to exist for extended time [periods in the vacuum of space REFERENCE: and give to this s[specific life-from the mind of the most brilliant human being currently in existence.
3. Design and train and program this particular life-form in all ways possible to be a soldier.
4. What could go wrong?
5. Perhaps 'It' can feel.
Just my thoughts, that's all. / The 'Eye' at the beginning; whose eye is that?
(NOTE: Do androids dream of electric sleep? Yes, that's right, the word 'Sleep,' not 'Sheep.' I read it wrong in my mind because of extended periods when I couldn't sleep and a Nexus 6 'Android' on the level of advancement of Roy Batty who I thought? Would think? And 'Wonder' more than almost all 'Real Human Beings' about sleep? Not being able to ever experience sleep? Also. I read the book; real happy story.

HOLDEN: You're in a desert, walking along in the sand...
LEON: (It was a timid interruption, hardly audible.) What one?
Wait! 'Timid?' This, a replicant, is nervous? Can experience apprehension?
HOLDEN: What?
LEON: What desert?
Wait! Leon looks, seems to be... afraid. Fear.
HOLDEN: Doesn't make any difference what desert.. it's completely hypothetical.
LEON: But how come I'd be there?...
Wait a minute! 'How come I'd be there?' This sounds like a 'Why' question to me which indicates curiosity / to ponder / think about / speculate / a complex and evolving thought process and above all; the ability to ask questions... questions... questions... about One's Self to work at learning and understanding that which is 'within' and 'without.'
Roy Batty's first appearance... spoken, "Time... enough." But does he look confident? Then there seems to be a progression to... Troubled? The 'Smile' sad? The 'Smile' mocking... Who?
Then the information from 'Chew' "(Tyrell) Big boss! Big genius! Design your brain."
For brevity, because there are many philosophical lines of thought, let's just say Rachel presents 2 conflicts; understanding and accepting she is a replicant and Deckard understanding and accepting that he feels for her; embracing 'Her' as if she is human.
Because Deckard is disappointed in human beings?
ZORA/SALOME: infiltration and assassination unit.
Wait! Why would a programmed assassination robot become so clumsy when it came to killing Deckard? Nerves? A new understanding of killing? Murder?
Zora exhibits fear; She is afraid. Her attempt to kill Deckard is based on her fear that she knows he will kill her. When this attempt is interruptes she runs, she flee. At no time during Deckard's pursuit of her does she ever just consider the idea of circle back and killing him. She just runs in fear, runs for her life wanting to live, to stay alive even though she most likely knows that she only has a few months.
As far as what is shown and said/pertaining to... she has not harmed anyone on earth. She may have hurt or killed during her escape but that would be necessary for her to obtain her freedom. She is currently separated from the other replicants she escaped with and there is nothing that implies she has been in contact with any of them.
Once on earth it seems that all she wanted to do was stay below the radar, remain in hiding, silently asking that she be left alone to live out the short remainder of her life. That doesn't seem like too much to ask... but apparently it was.
Zora got shot in the back while running away.

LEON... "Painful to live in fear, isn't it."
Leon is killed? Or murdered? By one of his 'Kind.' Rachel.

RACHAEL: What if I go North... disappeared ? Would you come hunting. ?
DECKARD: No... But somebody will.
Reflection in Rachel's eyes through out short scene

Roy Batty's fear and sadness when telling PRIS that… the other’s are dead; implyimg they are next... and without hope.

(Sebastion, Pris and Roy in Sbastion’s place...)
BATTY: Why are you staring at us ?
SEBASTIAN: You're just so... so different.
(A long pause.)
PRIS: What makes you think so, Sebastian?
SEBASTIAN: Well, you're ....so perfect. What generation are you ?
BATTY: Nexus 6
SEBASTIAN: Could you... Show me something.
BATTY: Like what ?
SEBASTIAN: Like... anything?
BATTY: We're not computers, Sebastian, we're physical.

(there are as many as 7 variations of this film and different scripts some of which were earlier drafts)
INT. TYRELL'S BEDROOM - NIGHT ... Tyrell is standing at the chess board in his nightgown staring at the pieces in a fit of concentration. He doesn't look up at the sound of footsteps.
SEBASTIAN: I....uh.... I brought a friend.
Tyrell looks alarmed. / Batty is standing in the shadows. / Tyrell is reaching for a tasseled bell pull that hangs over his bed. / Batty's eyes are like little coals glowing. / Warned by the look, Tyrell abandons the bell pull and reaches under the sheets for something.
BATTY: To act without understanding could lead to the very thing the act seeks to avoid.
Roy Batty gets to meet his 'Creator' ... Tyrell... the 'God' that created Roy Batty and the others of Roy Batty's kind.
Yes, Roy Batty was angry at that fact that extending his life and the life of Pris was just not possible.
Another perspective is Roy Batty was angry at being created and enslaved and the creation of others like him all created to be subservient and de-humanized for the gain of a human being.
Perhaps Roy Batty also felt that killing his 'God' would end the creation of his kind and after the last one came off the assembly line then 4 years later there were no others like him created to suffer a life time of physical and emotional pain.
`````
Roy Batty states he has done 'Questionable Things.' Who hasn't?
`````
Deackard and Roy Batty are both in extreme physical pain comparison of Deckard 'Fixing' the second broken ginger; Roy Batty putting a nail through the palm of his hand... 'If you can feel pain, you must must still be alive... still be here… even if you don’t want to be...
`````
Just my perspective, one person? out of 7 + billion people, points towards a perspective that once Roy Batty knew it was over he moved beyond the basic emotional motives of anger and revenge; he... seems of a deep sadness of what his life was and would never be; of all things he did that he felt were necessary to do yet... some of his actions were not governed by pure intellect... he was of emotion.
`````
ROY BATTY: “Quite an experience to life fear isn’t it? That was it is to be a slave.”
Perhaps Roy Batty just wanted another to understand what his life was like, what the others of his kind experienced… how they feel alone and used.
Was Deckard human or a more advanced replicant? Does it matter? What are we? Roy Batty's last message was meant for someone... somewhere...
