I Knew he Didn’t come Alone....
I told him to meet me here. Of course, he agreed. He thought we were going to make some agreement about some of his other dirty work he wanted me to do for him. No way, he already took everything else away from me, this is where it ends, right here, right now. I heard his footsteps, and realized an abandoned garage, far out of the city, at midnight...there was no way he came alone. No way did he come alone to meet the girl that he trained to kill for his convenience, no way would he come alone to the girl who he took everything away from, her freedom, her family, her friends, her home... The footsteps came closer, my hand inched closer to the knife in my pocket. It was his present to me, the one that I got for "agreeing" to work "with" him. He came closer, wearing a long, dark overcoat. His bald head shined from the one broken lamp in the middle of the room. I saw him and remebered my sister, I haven't seen her in 10 years, who knows where she is now. I remebered my mother, who was the first person he made me kill. The only way, he said, that would let him know if I was trustworthy. He came, pale hands clasped together in front of his overcoat. He raised an eyebrow at me. His eyes were pale green, they always reminded me of a lizard's. It disgusted me, I had to look at my own in the mirror everyday too.
"Did you need anything, Keira?" He said, taking a step closer to me.
"No, I just wanted to talk," I replied, taking a step towards him. "I'm sorry I couldn't meet you in a better place, but I found it the safest...and for the best." He look another look at me, then took a step closer, it dawned to me that he could have agreed to meet me here so he could do the same thing I wanted to do.
"For the best of wh--," I shoved the knife into him, and pushed him to the ground, he croaked and heaved for breaths.
"Keira!" He screamed. I've never heard such a voice come from him before.
"That was for mother, and for Anna," a thought came to me, I bent down and held the knife, "where is Anna?!" He gave me a sickining smile.
"Never, Keira, never," he whispered.
"I will find her," I told him coldly.
"Yes, you will definetly be able to find her grave, right next to your mother's... you see, she never agreed to do what you do," he was still smiling. I screamed in frustration, he took everything away, everything. I put my face in my hands and wept. I heard somehthing scratch along the floor. He was taking a gun from his belt, I grabbed it from the barrel before he could cock it. He groaned in defeat and pain. I stood up, holding the gun in my hand and wiping the tears with the other. I then put both hands on the gun and looked at him coldly.
"Goodbye, Father," I said, and pulled the trigger, the noise echoed through out the room. I fell to my knees, I just wanted peace, I just wanted to live my normal life again. But it's over now. I still wept, I felt a sudden burst of anger, Anna was gone. There was nothing I could do now, he was already dead. I heard another noise, much like the first one, and a sharp pain entered my thigh, then another, straight through my chest. I sank down, next to my father. Everything went black.
I knew he didn't come alone....
