Leaves
Silver
Shimmery
Leaves -
They move about
So freely
On a crisp autumn breeze
Their movements
Entrance me
And I want to enjoy
Their happy and carefree dancing
Catching particles of light
In their show
It’s all they can do
As winter ebbs in
And they become
Brittle to fall off
Learning that they
Are summer’s has-beens
