stop

look at me

look at my clothes

look at my hair

look at my eyes

look at how red and puffy they are

how tired and lifeless they look

how drained they are

"stop

you're hurting me

stop 

please

stop"

The word meant nothing

the word never hit your ears

the word were never said

and now you're screaming it back

to me.
