Sometimes I wonder why people are so mean

Why they poke you and prod you until you scream

Sometimes I wonder why people are jerks

Why they jeer and they sneer and they drive you berserk

Sometimes I wonder why people are like that

Why they break you and crush you and call you fat

In the end, I suppose, they shouldn't judge

'Cuz in the universe, they are just a tiny smudge.
