Dylan Writes

There is only one reason Dylan writes,

And it is because he enjoys it so.

It might mean he just cannot sleep some nights,

But he just can’t stop when words start to flow.

When others might prefer to play a game,

He would rather just sit and read his book.

It is easy to find someone to blame,

A childhood of reading is all it took.

He likes to write stories and poetry,

They might not be great, but he is learning.

I hope you all like it as much as he,

If you do, you could try returning.

I hope you like the work of this strange man,

He’ll keep writing for as long as he can.
