The Truth of Gold

To know the Truth is all I desire

to be a king among kings is all I aspire

to understand and yearn

for the knowledge of man

to have a deep burn

my whole life span

for the search of wealth, in great size

yet money means little in royal eyes

as true nobility is not measured in gold doubloons

tha’d be told to you by old buffoons

a true king can be recognize a mile away

its seen in open, on public display

not by a crown or fancy clothes

but by the people each king chose

to have by their side

as brothers with pride

for together they walk the path to enlightenment

they search for Light and Truth, even in their youth

for what value does each man hold

but what he can pass to another?

I tell you kings don’t trade gold

they exchange ideas together.
