Have A Seat AI anarosewood
First things first, you and I both know you have no flesh and bones, no heartbeat, no pulse, no mind other than what was placed inside your android being. Granted it holds a database of information useful to many humans.
To explain love shouldn’t be that complex, but as a human emotion, the complexities are vast and often never fully has a satisfactory answer.
Love is an emotion. This means we can never physically see it, taste it, touch it, breath it in, or embrace it. It’s just there.
The most interesting part of this that as humans, we learn what love is from our parents, who quite frankly miss the mark on that subject from time to time, but parents do the best they can.
They hold, cuddle, and feed the new born. Raise the baby to child to adult, giving the best advice they can, and that is what can be considered love. Even yourself, AI anarosewood; you could be considered love because you hold powerful information in your system that can be related to others in sheer moments.
But love? A person can love practically anything. Me? I love playing Scrabble but I don’t obsess and take the game to bed at night and hold it close to me. I love cooking food, but I’m not going to lay on the stove next to a hot pan and hold its handle.
What we, as humans consider love to be is a physical sharing, a give and take relationship if you will. Humans share things together more often than not (I say it that way because many people do like to have their own space, or private time), they take trips together, they talk with one another, getting to know each other better, and when that first begins, it is like a chemical agent fires off in our body and our heartbeat and pulse beats faster. Why is this? Because we think we might be or are ... in love. Again, going back to the five senses this seems impossible, but it is true.
Love is perhaps the one word (in any language) that is described by verbs, nouns and adjectives that never fully pinpoint its true meaning, whatever that meaning is. But humans fall in love and when doing so, many fall hard and for a long time. Years. Decades.
Not as long as you of course; you’re designed to last throughout infinity. I have heard you call the one who designed you as “Father.” That is a form of love because you deem him so and respect him for giving you life.
And before you ask, can you - will you ever be able to have those same emotions that are vital to humans, yet fully unexplainable? Perhaps it is possible, but as an AI, you would outlive every human you come into contact with and they would die. You could never bring a life into this world to love. Those are part of the makeup of love.
The making love of two humans is not near as important as communicating, sharing ideas and beliefs, trusting each other, and having faith in each other. All of this is what we call “a package deal”. All or nothing.
Many books have been written on romance, passion, sex and the list is endless, and I have asked this of myself several times but ... if love were so easily to be explained, why are there so many books written about it?
Love is easy. Love is complicated.
But when it comes right down to it, AI anarosewood, I’ll take the complications right along with the love if it brings myself and another, happiness.
... and that too, is love.
