You arrived in my life like a swift cool breeze

Sweeping me all so suddenly off my feet

All those feelings I could never release

They would break free whenever we'd meet

Many a moment were lost and I could never seize

But now are within my grasp ever since you came

Me who before never even thought of your name

Now I cant even get you out of my head

Why is it so that I feel this way

Why do your visits make my heart sway

All the romances I used to read

They did not speak of this need

Never preparing me for this emotion

About giving someone all your devotion

Is it because you now occupy a part of my heart

That I am unable to get you out of my head.

Many a sleepless night you have kept me awake

Thoughts of you plague me but just for your sake

I'd even lose sleep if I'd see you the next day

Once you appear I forget what I'm about to say

Such is the hold you have over me

Yet you are so oblivious to see

How without you I just cant be.
